Tour Introduction

On this tour, join us for the annual anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. See what a British or French camp would have been like in 1815. We also spend time exploring the Waterloo battlefields, visiting the Wellington Museum, the farms of La Haye Sainte and Hougoumont and Lion Mount Visitors’ Centre, all whilst we walk the fields and see where they fighting took place.

Once you have booked your battlefield tour either online, or by telephone (), you have the flexibility of how you pay off the remainder of your balance. You can -

Tour Itinerary

Day 1

Local departure by coach, then to our hotel in Belgium for a three-night stay.

Days 2 & 3 - Anniversary & the battlefields

We spend the two days visiting the Waterloo Battlefields including the Lion Mound, Memorial 1815 Museum, Hougoumont Farm (entrance to these included) and also seeing the memorials near to La Haye Sainte. During the course of the weekend there will be re-enactors in period costume giving demonstrations, Napoleonic cannons, and a reconstructed field hospital. We will also visit the Brussels Waterloo Memorial and Grave, the Wellington Museum (entrance at own cost) in Waterloo town, and the Plancenoit and Ligny battlefields where the Prussians fought the French.

Join your tour coach at the interchange.

On most tours if you’d prefer to join your tour coach at Stop 24 services, you can park your car in the car park which is accredited by the Park Mark safer parking scheme and is monitored 24 hours a day by CCTV. Payment for the parking is made on arrival using the self-service machines.
